I created, organized and facilitated this CIO Peer Group for local Enterprise CIOs in Denver, which was affiliated with Eide Bailly, a top 25 CPA firm. https://go.eidebailly.com/manufacturing-tech-groups
At this Peer Group, we met at the EideBailly corporate office and discussed various challenges each CIO was working on. We discussed:
Members left the meeting with new ideas and perspectives. It was nice to have other peers who worked on similar tough spots and had good ideas to achieve success.
The collective wisdom of the other CIOs lead one member to say: “Learned a great deal, and I love the input and dynamic we have going.”
I organized and ran two “Reverse Shark Tanks” for local manufacturers to gain free consulting from billion dollar staffing firms, manufacturing experts, and marketing agencies.
Local manufacturing executives, manufacturing experts, and I, met at the Jefferson County headquarters and discussed challenges each manufacturer was facing. The manufacturing experts sat on a panel and shared solutions for how each challenge could be solved.
These events were so successful that one panelist exclaimed “I took 10 pages of notes!”
Executives left the meeting stating that they received clarity and plans of action.
ConnectWise is a large ERP system used by the majority of IT firms running the networks of small and mid-sized businesses.
ConnectWise provides training to its members at these quarterly meetings.
It also needs local IT Owners with ConnectWise experience and success to help promote the benefits of its software, help translate their questions, and help members brainstorm solutions to their challenges with the software and implementing in within their firms.
As a long-term and seasoned ConnectWise user, I was able to steer conversations and provide both big picture and drill-downed insights into how IT firms can best use the software.
Members left each meeting with more ideas, more information, and a community they could call on in between meetings when they ran into new challenges.
With the right knowledge and connections, how much further can you lead your company?
