Connect with people who have the right answers when you need them.

How Does CIO Inner Circle Membership Work?

Meet in small groups and share the lessons you've all learned throughout your careers.

CIO Inner Circle (CIOIC) members meet virtually on a video call, with the same 4 to 10 members at every single meeting, each month. This builds connection and trust. There is no travel and members attend 80% or more meetings.

Each meeting is run by a professional Facilitator with Enterprise-Level CIO experience so that each member has their challenge addressed.

You meet with the same 4 to 10 Enterprise-level CIO members in your group, who share their career challenge they are currently working on.  These groups are kept small, so you get highly customized, individual attention from the people who’ve been where you are, and so you can help each other get to the next level.

Meeting with the same group members every month builds trust and bonding as you share your vulnerabilities and lessons. The ideas your peers share with you are more honest and you have better options to work with.

We use Hot Seats at CIOIC meetings.  When you’re in the Hot Seat, you present your challenge to your peer group of CIOs.

Members then ask you questions, and share their direct experience with a similar challenge, the solutions that worked, what surprised them, and the “gotchas” to avoid.  Next, they list action steps to solving your challenge.

During each meeting, you’ll get a plan and action items to solve your challenge, and your CIO peers will hold you accountable.

  • You will take action, and beat procrastination, because you don’t want to let them down!
  • You’ll report back on your outcomes at each meeting.
  • No bragging or posturing is allowed.

CIOIC Peer Group Meetings are Discussion Groups.  These are very interactive, participatory meetings, using intimate conversations, which foster members to get know each other better.  This motivates the group to avoid lectures.

The CIOIC also gives its members:

  • Communication channels to talk to your peer members in between meetings, so your progress continues during the month.
  • A Repository of CIO best practices for different scenarios
  • An email/ distribution list or Forum
  • Help with presentation skills
  • Help with Financial Analysis
  • Help with Proposal Skills and financial understanding

BONUS:  If you become unemployed, or nearly unemployed, get on the website as a consultant or CIOIC Board member so you don’t look like you are working for yourself.

CIOIC Board of Director Membership:

  • Helps you look employed
  • Gives you great visibility to other companies and vendors
  • And Inner Circle Advisors
